Just loaded and started the alpine kiln.. looks like it will be an early morning for me to get it up to cone 10!

Love your work! Where did you learn to use crystalline glazes?

A senior ceramic BFA did her capstone project specifically on crystalline glazes and firing techniques and I got interested in it. My professor and I are playing around with different firing schedules and such. its pretty fun and interesting to see how the crystals turn out with different holds.
